To Do List

These are things I MUST to do to prove myself responsible and worthy of the “Good Wife & Mother” stamp:

-Make supper

-Finalize house plans – means I gotta stop being wishy-washy and make some hard and fast decisions, and preferably budget-conscious ones………….hmmmmm, can’t I hire someone to do this job?…….but that’s not budget-conscious…….

-Add to my cooking repertoire (yes, this is IMPORTANT, ask my family)

-Reorganize my cookbook and streamline my food preperation

-Prepare for Thanksgiving (includes creating a thankful spirit in this house and pronto!)

-Get ready for Christmas (that means more decisions)

-Restructure and add to our school day

-Train children in more chore areas

-Order digestive enzymes

-REstart my exercise time and stay consistent (maybe this one can wait until after Christmas?)

-Train Rachel not to cry every time I say, “Let’s go to the bathroom”  (Yeah, I know, that’s a lofty goal)

-Bake more bread for my family and my inlaws who supply us with tons of garden produce

I’m stopping this list right here.  I absolutely will not add one more thing to it.  I have not forgotten anything.  I’ll hop right on it and cross this stuff off in no time.

But first, I’m going to take a nap.  I’m sure my list won’t seem so daunting after a nice, long nap………and then some chocolate………and maybe a good book to go with my chocolate.
