Yesterday, while Sidney and I sat on the deck working on his Rubik’s cube, Rachel caught our attention. I was pretty sure I had heard her say “Tina,” which sounded weird. We watched her pace around the yard with an old phone to her ear. “Hi, This is Tina,” she’d say. “baamusauta muffin . . . . . . . no . . . . mukasatu . . . . . .cat . . . . . goodbye.”
Sidney and I started laughing, which only encouraged her to show off. Then Sidney shakes his head and says, “I always thought I had the cutest sister in the world.”
