We have late-breaking news. The woman of the house has changed her mind. Of course, I was heavily influenced by my sister and Aunt Sylvia, who know about all things pertaining to HOME DECOR. Whew! I’m sure they have saved me from a potentially dreadful home decor mistake.
Instead of the “organic” greenish countertop that I reported choosing days ago, I have now decided on Mocha Granite.
Sorry that I couldn’t take a picture of the Mocha Granite against my cabinet door, but I left the door up at the house and was feeling too lazy to trek back up the hill to get it just for a picture. I think I will stick with the whitish looking one for my center island.
Of course, I haven’t gotten an estimate yet on how much this is gonna cost. So I’m leaving the door open to changing my mind again.
Now I’m off to make Pioneer Woman’s Chocolate Sheet Cake for Papa Henry’s 4th of July party tomorrow. Sidney will be making deviled eggs. And sometime in the next week or so, I’ve got some experimenting to do with chicken! Of course, at this point, I’ve only been given one recipe. I hope it is a good one.
