Hello!????!!

Hello?  Anybody here? (tap, tap, tap)

It’s kind of been quiet around here at Prairie Sings lately.  Not so quiet at the ole’ homestead though.  Lots happening, lots going on.  I have tons of blogging to catch up on and pictures to post.  I’m sure the grandmas have missed me here, though the sweet dears have not complained one bit.  I’m sure they just don’t want me to feel pressured.  I’m sure they have checked in here every single day and quietly held back their disappointment when there was no ‘new’ news to read. 

Anyway, I don’t have time to dilly-dally here now.  I’ve got this great new kitchen my husband worked hard to build me and I need to go make supper in it.  It is a beautiful kitchen, and it will be a real pleasure to boil my pot of water and prepare my Kraft macaroni and cheese in it.  I just wanted to stop by and say “WE HAVE LIVED WITHOUT INTERNET ACCESS FOR 8 DAYS AND SURVIVED!”    And I never, never want to do it again.  My Prairie’s birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I was almost worried that I might have to drive to a store to buy her birthday presents.  Whew!  We cut that one close.

Though we now have internet access, I won’t be able to post pics until Sid gets my computer set up, which will be . . . . . . . . . . . .hmmmmmm, I don’t know when that will be.  For some reason, he thinks setting up my computer so I can post pictures is a lower priority than moving and setting up his business computers, printers, fax, files, etc, etc. up to the house so he can work.  I don’t really understand it, but I think it has something to do with a house payment.

Meanwhile  gjkdlauiljeilg .a. … gkujajekhgkaleajkhdkajsal …slieal;h  kueaih. . . .OOPS! Sorry.  I was overcome with emotion for a moment and just had to hugggggg this little laptop with its internet access.  Did I mention that I’ve lived without internet access for 8 days?

So . . . .meanwhile, while I wait for the capability to post pics, I will just have to write some really witty pictureless posts.  Or maybe not.  You may have to go to The Ladybug Picnic to read my sister-in-law’s blog if you are looking for witty.
