Rachel walks into the room, carrying her new tea party set, which she calls her “tea party press.” Prairie is following very closely, almost tripping on Rachel’s heels, hoping for yet another chance to touch the prized toy.
Rachel has generously shared her tea set all morning, but my little introvert is obviously beginning to feel a little overwhelmed by her zealous, highly extroverted sister who does NOT appreciate the concept of personal space.
In a serious attempt to control the situation and her own temper, Rachel says very sweetly, “Prairie, I don’t want you to get too close to me. It makes me rude.”
