where the monks are hard at work creating a manuscript.

Life is peaceful but focused at Hummingbird Hill Monastery.  The monks here value silence and a steady, sure pace in the transcription of God’s Word.

Their backs may ache and their hands may cramp, but they plug away at their work.

They squint tired eyes, needing more light than the 2 candles on the table can provide.  Thankfully, they are well-supplied with ink.

Their careful attention to detail, the precision of each stroke, the studied illuminations pay off  . . . . . . . . . . . . . in the creation of masterpieces.
